According to Gür, “the two most critical factors that made renovation inevitable were the pool’s water leakage and the serious safety risks posed by the electrical installation.”
Highlighting that transforming an existing structure requires a far more delicate balance than designing a new project from scratch, Gür explains that the primary objective was not demolition and reconstruction, but rather enhancing the existing structure and unlocking its full potential. “One of the most important opportunities for me in this project was to give the existing structure a more contemporary identity while improving it,” she notes. The integration of a jacuzzi within the pool stands out as a direct outcome of this approach, offering both aesthetic and functional value.
