Describing the Aegean Region as an important market for the swimming pool industry, Öztürk stated that boutique and chain hotels, luxury villas, detached residential properties and high-quality residential developments represent a significant part of their portfolio. He also pointed out that customer expectations in the region have evolved considerably. Today, users are looking not simply for a swimming pool, but for living spaces that integrate with architecture, consume less energy, require minimal maintenance, meet high hygiene standards and offer a strong aesthetic experience.
According to Öztürk, this transformation is particularly evident in swimming pool lighting. He explained that older, energy-intensive lighting systems have largely been replaced by LED technologies. LED lighting, DMX-controlled RGB systems and smart home integrations are taking the user experience to a new level, he noted, adding that pools are no longer viewed simply as spaces that need to be illuminated at night, but as living environments whose atmosphere can be transformed through different lighting scenarios.
Arkim Havuz’s partnership with SkyPool also plays an important role in this technological transformation. He also emphasized that after-sales support and spare parts availability are important for ensuring operational continuity.
Regarding renovation projects, Öztürk noted that modernizing existing pools with minimal intervention to their mechanical infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. He explained that SkyPool’s slim housing designs, retrofit models compatible with existing niches and fixtures offering surface-mounted installation options provide significant advantages in such projects.
Commenting on the future of the industry, Öztürk emphasized that compliance with standards, accurate engineering calculations and qualified workforce remain among the sector’s fundamental requirements. He expects smart pool and full automation systems to become increasingly widespread, stating that IoT-based systems capable of remotely monitoring chemical parameters, automatically managing filtration processes and controlling lighting through different scenarios will become one of the industry’s key areas of development.
Öztürk stated that Arkim Havuz will continue to strengthen its technological infrastructure and focus on energy-efficient and environmentally friendly projects, while also expanding its service network and technical team across the Aegean Region.
