Promet’s Quality and Sustainability-Focused SPA & Wellness Solutions

Building on its Finnish sauna heritage, Promet provides turnkey solutions in SPA, Wellness, pool, and hammam projects, becoming a strong reference in the industry with over 32 years of experience. We spoke with Chairman of the Board Mehmet Kabaş and Vice Chairman Ayşegül Sungur about Promet’s approach to quality, sustainability, R&D initiatives, and global project strategies.
Promet has transformed its Finnish sauna origins into a multidisciplinary engineering structure delivering turnkey SPA, Wellness, pool, and hammam projects. With more than three decades of experience, the company has established itself as a strong industry reference, adopting a quality-, sustainability-, and innovation-centered approach while serving as a bridge between investors, architects, engineers, and operators.
Chairman Mehmet Kabaş summarizes Promet’s vision: “Our goal is not only to build spaces but to create long-lasting and operationally sustainable solutions that prioritize people’s physical and mental well-being.” The turnkey model provides investors with high quality from a single source, budget discipline, and rapid implementation, while ensuring continuity of quality and risk management in complex SPA & Wellness projects.
Promet defines quality as “a process of creating value beyond expectations.” Vice Chairman Ayşegül Sungur explains R&D and technological integration: “Our R&D team incorporates the latest automation and sustainable systems, industry trends, and material technologies into our projects. We ensure architectural aesthetics are realized in harmony with engineering realities and consider operational sustainability from the design stage onward.”
Sustainability is a core starting point in Promet projects. Mehmet Kabaş notes that energy-efficient systems, water-saving equipment, heat-recovery ventilation, greywater reuse, and durable materials make the projects environmentally friendly and economically operable. Occupational health and safety are implemented at the highest level throughout construction processes.
Promet’s 32 years of know-how stems from international projects across diverse climates and cultures. Kabaş adds: “Working with global hotel brands and international architecture offices constantly elevates our engineering standards. We create unique models by blending traditional Turkish hammam culture with modern Finnish sauna techniques and the latest wellness technologies.”
In 2025, SPA & Wellness trends included personalized experiences, digital control systems, energy-efficient solutions, and mental health-focused designs. Promet interpreted these trends with solutions that enhance the user experience without compromising spatial simplicity. Goals for 2026 include deepening engineering expertise, increasing R&D investments, expanding sustainable solutions, and strengthening global brand recognition.
