Positioned as one of Eurasia’s strongest meeting points for the pool, spa, wellness, and water entertainment industries, AQUAFUN Fair is preparing for its fifth edition in 2026 under the theme “Serious Fun, Blue Future.” We spoke with Nergis Aslan, Chairperson of Tureks International Fair Organization, about the fair’s growing international influence and its new goals. Aslan emphasized that AQUAFUN has evolved beyond being a trade platform—becoming a vision hub that guides the sector through sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.
The 2026 edition will once again bring together manufacturers, suppliers, investors, and industry professionals in Istanbul from January 15–17. The newly designed BLOOM ARENA will serve as a dynamic platform where leading experts share ideas and trends shaping the future of water and wellness. Parallel sessions will highlight topics such as energy efficiency, sustainable water management, and eco-friendly technologies.
Reflecting the philosophy of ATRAX—“Happiness Is Serious Business”—the theme “Serious Fun, Blue Future” underscores the evolving role of water-based spaces. Pools, spas, and water parks are no longer seen merely as luxury amenities but as essential components of healthy, sustainable urban living, supported by energy-saving systems and water-efficient technologies.
According to Aslan, AQUAFUN’s international success rests on three pillars: a clear sectoral focus, strong global partnerships, and professional organization strength. With a growing buyer network from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, the fair has positioned Turkey as a regional hub for water and wellness technologies.
The 2026 edition is already experiencing a 25% increase in demand from exhibitors and visitors, particularly from Europe and the Middle East. AQUAFUN continues to serve as a regional center of attraction, creating new business opportunities and fostering international cooperation.
